Two Copies Made...

Cira, you think you can make program or some sort 'something' that deletes certain files in certain folders that haven't been used in...certain times?

I'd see it rather useful for the server to have a cleaning script that deletes account vaults that haven't been accessed in certain time for example....err or characters? I remember WHs vault being rather...cluttered.

Well.... There's a few small problem with that.

One of them is that it uses excess ram that can otherwise be spared, and another is simply that many players who'd wish to log in on old characters, or old players who'd want to make a return, may or may not be very upset to find their characters gone. If I decided to take a break with Hien and then logged in one day to find him deleted, you better believe I'd be upset, and I'm sure other people would be angry if their own favorite old characters were to dissapear.

Yeah, well the ram won't really be an issue it's fairly small program i assume?

And...it could have something like a diablo-styled timer, log in every once in a while like..in say 3 months and the character resets with its timer, i think something could be found on the vault im sure one who makes something like it wouldnt give that thought at all.
